His major recordings were "Skyliner", "Cherokee", "The Wrong Idea", "Scotch and Soda", "In a Mizz", and "Southland Shuffle". Barnet had 78's, 45's, 10" and 12" albums from 1933 to his waning years. The record labels on which he appeared included: Bluebird Records/RCA Victor, Mercury Records, Clef Records, Capitol Records, Columbia Records, Crown Records, Joyce Records and Calliope Records.
