American boxer Tom Chandler bested his English opponent in the first known middleweight championship fight. Air: When Johnny Comes Marching Home. [By P.S. Gilmore]. The first line reads: "There came a man from London Town--Hurrah, hurrah!" Celebrates the victory of Tom Chandler of California over Dooney Harris of England in a boxing match April 13, 1867Rare with only four copies listed in **OCLC** one each at University of California, Berkeley, Texas A&M, University of Texas, Austin and Mount Alison University in New Brunswick, Canada.
