Inscribed on the front endpaper: 'Rockwell Kent/For my old pal/Alex G___/1942.' Kent [1882-1971] was an American artist and adventurer whose work encompassed a variety of media, among them Memoirs of his travels to various parts of the world. This memoir by Kent is about his first Arctic winter in Illorsuit, Greenland. Very Good with lightly age toned pages in publisher's blue cloth that has some minor bumping to the edges.
